The instructors and their assistants will do all hair and makeup, so parents have the option of dropping their children off at the arrival time and picking them up at the end of the examination time or, if preferred remain at the Studio with their child(ren).
Parents who choose to remain at the Studio will have to wait in the Lobby as no one is allowed in the hallways during examination sessions and it is worth reminding that silence is a must!
No make-up is to be worn in the examination (Pre-Primary to Grade 4)
No nail polish is to be worn (all grades)
No underwear is to be worn under tights and leotard.
No jewelry is to be worn at all during the examination, including small earrings, necklaces, wristbands, rings, etc.
Students must be polite during the examination. If the examiner asks you a question, please answer her loud and clear and with confidence.
Most important: SMiLE & HAVE FUN !
What's the difference between Exam, Presentation and Class Award?
The RAD offers examinations at all graded levels from Pre-Primary - Grade 8. They also offer students an alternative to a full exam. In the Pre-Primary and Primary levels, the RAD offers the CLASS AWARD and for Grades 1-8, the RAD offers the PRESENTATION. To simplify, levels that use the "new syllabus" (PP-Grade 3) use the word "Class award" to replace "Presentation".
